UMASS PRESIDENT MARTY MEEHAN
Hard work, opportunity, a quality education-- that used to be the recipe for success in this country. But what happens when education becomes unaffordable? Economic mobility declines. Income inequality grows. And the American dream drifts out of reach for far too many. In this commonwealth, where our greatest natural resource is talent, the one threat to our continued prosperity is untapped potential.

Footage of urban apartments and the Massachusetts State House. Various students from diverse backgrounds working with lab technology. Researchers working in nuclear energy facilities and virtual reality. Footage of musicians playing for an audience. Medical professionals working with patients.

UMASS PRESIDENT MARTY MEEHAN
