UMass President's Office, Boston Business Journal to host panel on strategies to address college affordability

BOSTON - The University of Massachusetts President's Office and the Boston Business Journal will host a panel discussion on how business and higher education can work together to address the rising cost of college at the UMass Club on Tuesday, Feb. 27 from 7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m.

The panel, titled "Strategies for a debt-free workforce: How business and higher education can collaborate to address college affordability," will feature business and higher education leaders exploring ways to ensure that students of all backgrounds have access to higher education and are graduating on time and with the skills the job market demands.

The panel includes Aron Ain, CEO of Kronos Incorporated; Dr. Kerry Healey, president of Babson College; Travis McCready, president & CEO of the Massachusetts Life Sciences Center; and Marty Meehan, president of the University of Massachusetts. The panel will be moderated by BBJ Executive Editor Doug Banks.
