The Center for Teaching and Learning has announced the recipients of the 2022-23 TIDE Ambassadors (Teaching for Inclusiveness, Diversity and Equity) faculty fellowship award.
Throughout the program year, the 10 participants will explore how they can enhance students’ learning and academic success across cultural, social and learning differences by adopting a strength-based, inclusive and equitable approach to teaching and learning grounded in the value of diversity.
The 2022-23 faculty fellows, representing a wide range of disciplines and teaching interests, are:
- Laura Ciolkowski, senior lecturer of women, gender, sexuality studies, College of Humanities and Fine Arts
- Elizabeth Cook, lecturer of biostatistics and epidemiology, School of Public Health and Health Sciences
- Krista Gile, professor of mathematics and statistics, College of Natural Scien`ces
- Sohee Koo, assistant professor of art, College of Humanities and Fine Arts
- Maud Low, clinical assistant professor, Elaine Marieb College of Nursing
- Sibongile Mafu, assistant professor of biochemistry and molecular biology, College of Natural Sciences
- Maria T. Puppolo, lecturer of legal studies and sociology, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences
- Memnun Seven, assistant professor, Elaine Marieb College of Nursing
- Kelsey Whipple, assistant professor of journalism, College of Social and Behavioral Sciences
- Sam Wojda, lecturer of biomedical engineering, College of Engineering
