Returning to Campus

UMass Amherst

The university is planning for more normal campus operations this fall, with campus life as close to pre-COVID times as possible. The Fall Planning Group is charged with developing detailed operational recommendations for the fall 2021 semester, which would include resuming face-to-face instruction, full residence halls, and a complement of student events and activities.

UMass Boston

Based on current health projections, we are planning a fall 2021 return to campus for all students, faculty, and staff. We expect to return to face-to-face instruction, full residence halls, available dining, and a full complement of student activities and support services.

UMass Dartmouth

UMass Dartmouth looks forward to resuming on-campus, in-person classes for the Fall 2021 semester. Groups from across campus are currently working on the University's plan to keep our community safe while restoring the vibrant on-campus experience.

UMass Lowell

UMass Lowell plans to return to full on-campus operations for the Fall 2021 semester, including increasing the number of residential students and offering the majority of undergraduate courses in-person.

UMass Medical

UMass Medical School has been providing updates on its safety precautions related to COVID-19, as well as highlighting the research and medical engagement they have on the frontlines of the pandemic. Visit the link to learn more about what UMass Medical School has been doing.
