UMass Boston makes Forbes’ Top 300 list for America’s Best Value Colleges
The University of Massachusetts Boston made the list for Forbes’ America’s Best Value Colleges. The list, which was released earlier this month, is based on several factors, including student satisfaction, graduation rate, and academic success. UMass Boston was ranked No. 297.
“We are honored to be recognized as one of the best value colleges in the country. Ensuring student success is one of our top commitments, and we are pleased to see this vision reflected and credited in Forbes’ rankings,” said Interim Chancellor Barry Mills.
This is Forbes’ third annual release of the list, which ranks 300 four-year colleges and does not include for-profit institutions. UMass Boston was also recognized earlier this year by The Princeton Review and U.S. News and World Report for its academic success and overall student satisfaction.
