Men’s Hockey Receives First NCAA Statistical Champion Plaque
The UMass Boston men’s hockey team received its first NCAA statistical champion plaque at a ceremony on Monday. The men's hockey team led all of Division III in the 2014-15 season with an average of 4.78 goals a game.
Stephen Buco ’15 also received a plaque for having more assists than anyone in Division III in 2014-15 – 32. He was second in the division in total points (48). Buco transferred to UMass Boston during the 2013-14 hockey season.
At the same event, members of UMass Boston's 2013-14 track and field teams were honored for their individual and team accomplishments during the 2013-14 season.
