Massachusetts State Employees Retirement System

The Massachusetts State Employees Retirement System ("SERS") is a defined benefit plan for State employees. SERS participants are not subject to tax on compensation under the Old Age, Survivors and Disability Income portion of the Federal Insurance Contributions Act. The Massachusetts State Board of Retirement is the SERS Plan Administrator.
