Integrating technology into the classroom has many benefits. Technology can increase student achievement, improve student motivation, and extend learning beyond the classroom. Western New England College is offering a series of hands-on technology sessions for teachers. The technology sessions will be held in a multi-media computer lab with access to standard software applications and the Internet. Each session will focus on a core content area and the technology practices that best extend and
enrich the content. The sessions will include step by step technology instruction, activities to apply technology skills, and time to reflect on the implications of technology.
