EtF 101, a 4-week Moderated Online Course for Teachers

This professional-level, moderated, online course for teachers using Engineering the Future begins June 9.

Engineering the Future online professional development familiarizes teachers with this project-based science curriculum, offers pedagogical guidance, and provides access to continuing support resources.

Engineering the Future is full-year project-based engineering curriculum correlated to national high school technology and engineering standards. Student teams apply mathematics and science through sequential tasks (following engineering design process) to solve challenges in four distinct, engaging projects.

This is a four-week online course. Participants have flexibility within each week but are expected to begin and complete the activities during the assigned week. Participants will spend 5-10 hours on coursework each week. Instruction includes activities, videos, and discussion forums for communicating with colleagues. A trained moderator leads and provides support throughout the course.
