Engineering, A New Approach to Science - 5-Day Institutes (July & August)The Engineering the Future (EtF) team at the National Center for Technological Literacy (NCTL) is happy to offer support to advance engineering education for all students in Massachusetts and beyond. "Engineering, A New Approach to Science" is a 5-day institute which is held twice during the Summer of 2008 (once in July and once in August). Please note that there are two different locations for the institutes (Museum of Science, Boston and Williams Elementary School in Pittsfield). Please see below for additional information. Sessions do not include food, but do include free parking at the Museum plus a set of published materials (a teacher guide, one student text, and one set of project workbooks). Please note that this 5-day institute is sponsored by DESE is free. Note also that college credit is available as an additional low-cost option.
