RFP#UP13-DF-0201 Satellite Phones and Services

The University of Massachusetts (UMass) seeks to engage a qualified Satellite phone vendor, for the purchase of satellite phones, services and docking stations to allow UMass employees to communicate with anyone needed during an emergency event, routine business and/or when conventional phone services (landlines and wireless) may be unavailable. UMass currently utilizes Iridium 9505A Satellite Phones with Iridium services and is looking to upgrade these Satellite phones along with the services as well as install satellite phone docking stations at five of the UMass operating units. The intent of the Request for Proposal (RFP) and the ensuing process is to provide vendors with the information, requirements, and specifications necessary for the preparation for a professional and comprehensive proposal. Specific terms and conditions are outlined.

The response deadline is March 12, 2013, 2:00pm EST.
