RFP# CP14-DF-0701 Re-Write of

The University of Massachusetts Office of the President is looking to redesign their primary web presence (referred to as is the System's primary vehicle providing information to a variety of audiences both internal and external. The property sits on an in-house developed CMS utilizing ColdFusion and has not had significant work done to it in many years.

The University is open to re-architecting the site utilizing existing market research along with a Consulting Partner's market understanding to redefine how the University's message is communicated. We are looking to streamline external content and eliminate content to audiences within the University so as to concentrate on building consistency, while targeting information to the correct audiences.

UMass is looking for a Consulting Partner who can help with analysis of the best layout, methods and channels to deliver University specific information to external audiences. The successful bidder will be able to:

  • Combine current market research with their Higher Education experience in developing websites of this nature
  • Identify areas of opportunity where audiences may not have been reached
  • Utilize social media outlets to expand site reach
  • Mobilize site
  • Provide technical staffing to build site
  • Be able to analyze benefits of hosting options
