Welcome to the University of Massachusetts Presidential Search Committee Web Site. The Committee's goal is to provide you with the latest news and information about the search process. We value your opinion and insight as the University continues this historic process.

The Committee was formed in March following the announcement by University of Massachusetts President Jack M. Wilson that he will step down on June 30, 2011, after leading the University through an era of growth and accomplishment.

    The next Presidential Search Committee meeting will be held at 8 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 17, 2010 at the UMass President's Office, 225 Franklin St., 33rd Floor, Boston, MA. The meeting will cap a week of public forums held at the following campuses:

    • UMass Dartmouth: 9:30 a.m., Sept. 13, in the Library Browsing Room, 1st Floor in the Carney Library
    • UMass Lowell: 1:30 p.m., Sept 13, in the O'Leary Library, Room 222
    • UMass Amherst: 9:30 a.m., Sept. 14, in Room 101 of the Campus Center
    • UMass Medical School: 1:30 p.m., Sept. 14, in the Amphitheater, Medical School, 2nd floor, Room 102
    • UMass Boston: 9:30 a.m., September 16, in the Campus Center Ballroom
