What is the PeopleSoft Portal?
The PeopleSoft portal is used to control access to several PeopleSoft modules including Student Administration (i.e., SA), Asset Management (i.e., AM) and once upgraded, Human Resources (i.e., HR) and Financials (i.e., FS). The PeopleSoft portal uses lightweight directory access protocol (i.e., LDAP). LDAP and PeopleSoft are integrated so that user id and user access information is passed between the two products.
