Statement on the passing of Paul SullivanThe University of Massachusetts has lost a vibrant and valued alumnus with the passing of Paul Sullivan. Paul loved UMass and in so many ways, with his wit and drive and irrepressible spirit, was the quintessential UMass alumnus. We are so proud to count Paul Sullivan as one of our own and will deeply miss him in the months and years ahead. Paul informed and entertained us for so many years and then inspired us with the incredible courage he displayed during his battle with illness. The University's deepest sympathies and condolences go to Paul's wife, Mary Jo Griffin, to the other members of his family and to Paul's many friends and colleagues. Jack M.
