UMass Boston Faculty Council Votes Strong Support for the Appointment of Dr. J. Keith MotleyToday, the UMass Boston Faculty Council unanimously passed a resolution supporting the appointment of Dr. J. Keith Motley as the next Chancellor of UMass Boston. The faculty group also expressed disappointment about process aspects relating to the University's recent leadership announcements.
UMass President"I think we all share the goal of claiming the University of Massachusetts' rightful place as a world-class University, with a top-tier urban campus in Boston. The leadership team we're putting in place is the team to help make this a reality for UMass. "We understand that some faculty members have concerns about process, particularly because this conversation got started the wrong way, but we are convinced it's the right conversation at the right time for UMass," said Robert P.
