University of Massachusetts announcesProminent UMass Faculty Deliver Lectures on Healthcare, BOSTON - The University of Massachusetts will present some of its most accomplished thinkers, innovators and teachers at a One Day UMass to be held November 12, at the Conference Center at Waltham Woods. The upcoming session is part of a national One Day UMass series that kicked off earlier this year in Florida, with those sessions attracting full houses and winning widespread praise from attendees. "The professors were great communicators. I gained so much knowledge in one day - the experience was remarkable," said Gloria Phillips Ricles, a UMass Boston graduate. Claire T. Carney, a graduate of UMass Dartmouth, said: "The One Day UMass I attended was superb. It made us realize learning is never ending." The Waltham One Day UMass will feature dynamic, thought-provoking faculty presenters from throughout the five-campus UMass system:
One Day UMass, which is open to the public, takes place from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., November 12, at the Conference Center at Waltham Woods, 860 Winter Street, Waltham, MA. Registration is $50.00 per person and includes continental breakfast, lunch and the six lectures.
