The Enterprise Technologies Division of UITS exists to ensure that the University and all five campuses receive the most advanced, quality-driven technology the current market has to offer. The division also provides support for any technical or network issues that may occur. The Enterprise Technologies Division is made up of the following departments:
- Network/Security Services
- Hosting Services
- System Engineering
- Operations/Production Services
- Client Technology Services
Network/Security Services Network/Security Services provides UITS and the University with network/security services.
System Engineering System Engineering provides UITS and the University with system engineering support.
Hosting Services Hosting Services provides the University, five campuses, and several other educational organizations (Community Colleges, Libraries, etc.) with network services through the Massachusetts Information Turnpike Initiative (MITI). The MITI network is the long fiber optic cable (backbone) that runs along Interstate I-90, connecting all five campuses through rings such as the UMW-UML ring. Operations/Production Services Operations/Production Services provides the University with services that keep the day to day operations and production at a fast-paced, efficient level. The following services are provided under Operations/Production:

- UNIX/Linux/SAN Backups
- Wintel
- Batch Processing
- Scheduling Services
- Production Support
