I am in the process of developing a website devoted to raising international awareness to the importance and health issues of donkeys in third world countries. Donkeys are the primary work animal in many parts of the world. I am establishing international contacts in the UK, Africa, China, western Europe, and the middle east. The web site will contain health articles related to the major health concerns of these animals, the reliance of poor farmers on them for farming and other work activities, and it will also serve as a place for publication of research papers for all to share.
