UMass Lowell- Forum Targets Events of Cambodia Genocide

An all-day event Dec. 13 originally scheduled at the auditorium in O'Leary Library documented, memorialized and paid tribute to the millions who were murdered or starved to death in Cambodia more than 30 years ago.

The forum, called "Shared Suffering, Shared Resilience," featured testimonials, film screenings and expert testimonials on the atrocities perpetrated by the Khmer Rouge between 1975 and 1979, which resulted in the deaths of between 2 million and 7 million Cambodians. More...
