UMass Lowell- Study Links Heating of Indian Ocean to Drought in Africa

A new study conducted by a team of oceanographers, climatologists and environmental and atmospheric scientists suggests that global warming is raising surface temperatures in the Indian Ocean, which in turn is causing a dramatic decrease in rainfall over eastern and southern Africa.
