UMass Lowell- Art Prof.’s Work Featured Globally

Assoc. Prof. Jehanne-Marie Gavarini translated "Tomboy," a novel by Franco-Algerian writer Nina Bouraoui.  This addition to the University of Nebraska's European Writers Series was a collaboration with Marjorie Attignol Salvodon, associate professor of French at Suffolk University.  "Tomboy" earned several positive reviews, including praise by Heather Shaw in ForeWord Magazine, who compares the book to the writings of Marguerite Duras.
