UMass Amherst Psychology Professor to Study Jumping Spiders in New Zealand on Fulbright Grant

AMHERST, Mass. - Elizabeth M. Jakob, professor of psychology at the University of Massachusetts Amherst, will spend six months in New Zealand studying jumping spiders and how they track prey with their eyes, beginning in February 2007. Jakob will conduct the research thanks to a grant from the Fulbright Scholar Program.
