UMass Boston- Professor Arranges Meeting between Leaders of World’s Divided Cities in MitrovicaA University of Massachusetts Boston professor will bring together municipal leaders from 10 divided cities from around the world in Mitrovica, Kosovo, for a four-day conference aimed at working to resolve these cities' conflicts through dialogue, at a time when intrastate wars are proliferating. Professor Padraig O'Malley will host the first official "Forum for Cities in Transition" (FCT) from May 24-28 in Mitrovica, a city divided by Serbs in the north and Albanians in the south.
