Global Warming Experts Explore the Uncertain Future

Many people believe the end of the world is coming at the hands of God. Journalists Ross Gelbspan and Dianne Dumanoski believe it's coming at the hands of a mankind that has accepted fossil fuels as its savior.

The pair was described by Asst. Prof. Joel Tickner as "two of the best voices on global change." At a recent campus lecture, they said global warming - which is caused by modern civilization's use of fossil fuels - is here, and, although we may not be able to reverse it, there are some things we can do about it.
