Message from Dr. Jack M. Wilson, President

In a global society, international relations are an important part of our mission "to conduct programs of research and public service that advance knowledge and improve the lives of people of the Commonwealth, the nation, and the world." At the University
of Massachusetts, we focus our efforts on social and economic development in the Commonwealth and collaborate on research and studies with institutions around the world. International collaborations are underway on all five campuses of the University of Massachusetts and we continue expanding the international experiences available to our students and faculty.

This website is a tool to inform students and faculty of the numerous opportunities to research and study abroad and to help the public learn more about the international work that our students and faculty are involved in. Links to the five campuses and offices involved in international relations provide a network of resources.

The University of Massachusetts will continue looking for ways to partner with others around the world as we carry out our mission as a globally engaged, regionally-focused, land-grant research university.
