On May 3rd and 4th, the University of Massachusetts hosted its Second Annual Global Health Symposium in Shrewsbury, MA. UMass President Jack M. Wilson, UMass Senior Vice President Marcellette G. William welcomed local, national and international health authorities and scientists from a number of universities The two day Symposium was held at the UMass Medical School's South Street Facility in Shrewsbury. Participants included physicians, scientists and administrators from: UMass Amherst's School of Public Health, UMass Medical School, Harvard University Medical School; Tufts University School of Nutrition, Science and Policy; Clark University's Department of International Development, Community and Environment; Boston University Schools of Public Health and Medicine and the University of Michigan.
