An important priority for the University of Massachusetts is to ensure a welcoming environment on all of our campuses for international students, scholars and faculty. With locations throughout the state, and countless online opportunities, the University offers hundreds of undergraduate and graduate degrees as well as professional programs and certificates to students from Massachusetts and around the world.
To assist with the unique needs of international students, scholars and faculty, each of our five campuses has a dedicated department with trained staff to help answer questions from prospective international students about our academic programs, application requirements and visa processes as well as providing comprehensive welcome orientation when arriving at the campus. The departments are also dedicated to assist international faculty and scholars in navigating the visa process, answer questions about immigration matters and provide information and guidance on a wide range of issues such as employment, visa dependents, health insurance, and tax matters.
