Reporting to the Senior Vice President for Administration and Finance, the University Controller is responsible for financial management and reporting and controlling the proper use of funds in accordance with Federal, State, and University policy and procedure. The University Controller's Office also serves as Accounts Payable and Property Offices for the President's Office and Central Administrative Services.
The Controller's Office communicates on behalf of the University of Massachusetts System with personnel from the State Comptroller's Office, State Auditor's Office, Federal Government, and other state agencies and institutions of higher education.
