Kumble R. Subbaswamy became chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Amherst on July 1, 2012. Prior to his selection, Subbaswamy served as provost at the University of Kentucky. He previously served as dean of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University in Bloomington.

Barry Mills, JD, PhD - UMass Boston

Barry Mills became interim chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Boston on July 1, 2017. Prior to his selection, Mills served as president of Bowdoin College. He previously enjoyed a successful legal career that saw him rise to the position of partner at Debevoise & Plimpton in New York City, one of the nation's preeminent international law firms, where he focused on corporate law, real estate and corporate finance.

Robert E. Johnson, PhD

Robert E. Johnson, PhD - UMass Dartmouth

Robert E. Johnson became chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth on July 1, 2017. Prior to his selection, Johnson served as president of Becker College. He previously served as senior vice president of Sinclair Community College, vice president of enrollment management at the University of Dayton, vice provost at Oakland University and executive director of enrollment management at Central State University.

Jacqueline Moloney, EdD

Jacqueline Moloney, EdD - UMass Lowell

Jacqueline Moloney became chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Lowell on August 3, 2015. Prior to her selection, Chancellor Moloney served as the executive vice chancellor at UMass Lowell. She had served at UMass Lowell for more than 30 years in various positions, including as dean of Continuing Education.

Michael F. Collins, MD

Michael F. Collins, MD - UMass Medical School

Dr. Michael F. Collins became Chancellor of the University of Massachusetts Medical School in June of 2007 while simultaneously being appointed Senior Vice President for Health Sciences for the University. Prior to his selection, Dr. Collins served as  Chancellor at UMass Boston. He previously served as President and CEO of Caritas Christi.
